Dr. Alan Howard of the Dental Office Encino is an experienced dentist and periodontistry at the top of his field. He earned his DMD from the School of Dental Medicine at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1979. Before opening up his practice in 1991, Dr. Howard served in the US Navy as a Dental Medical Doctor and also taught Dental Medicine from 1979 to 1991. Many of Dr. Howard's patients have been coming to him for decades, and won't see any other dentist.
Dr. Howard offers patients am array of treatments, including advanced cosmetic dentistry, pediatric dentistryry, oral surgery, periodontics, dental implants, orthodontics, teeth whitening, and porcelain veneers. His customized veneers fit the shape, color and size of any tooth, allowing for the repair of crooked, chipped, misshapen, worn, uneven, and poorly spaced teeth.
Dr. Howard also offers patients real solutions for sleep apnea, which contributes to health problems such as high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, erectile dysfunction, concentration impairment, and memory problems. Dr. Howard helps patients resolve this condition by fitting them with an anti-snoring mouthpiece that aligns the jaw to increase air flow and alleviate apnea.
Currently, Dr. Howard serves as a member of the American Dental Association, the San Fernando Valley Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry, and others.

I have been going to Dr. Alan Howard for many years. Have to say, this is one dental office that you don't feel like you are going to just have another dental job. Dr. Alan is very skillful, caring and his office is equipped with the most up-to-date equipment. He took care of all my dental needs and his hygienist is also very good. All the staff are very friendly and greet you by name. Well worth the price I pay and have excellent results.

I never thought that I would be reviewing my dentist, but I am so impressed that I need to.
I ended up going to see Dr. Yonaton Howard at the recommendation of a friend because the dentist I had gone to for most of my life recently retired.
Here are my top reasons why this place is great
1. When I arrived for my appointment they took me right away.
2. I got to watch TV while in the dentist chair.
3. The nurses and doctor were really nice and totally patient when it came to explaining my options.
4. The shot they gave me was painless. :)
5. The office is clean and everything looks brand new.
6. It was fun to get a giant view of my mouth on the big screen.
Yay for having a new dentist!
